Portaloo Hire Helped my Holiday From Going Down the Swannie.

How I Portaloo Hire Saved my Holiday Mark AttwoodOur exams had finished and me and my friends were going to spend some time camping on the coast of Devon.Because we were all heading off to our separate colleges and universities, we wanted this to be a holiday to remember.It wasn’t the most luxurious of campsites, but it was right next to the beach and the view was amazing.We spent the days sunbathing and swimming and at night we would build a campfire and chat to the early hours of the morning.

One evening, it started to rain and this turned into an almighty downpour which lasted all night.We all huddled together and played blackgammon for hours and drank hot chocolate – we were not venturing out that evening!The weather was awful, but our tent was as tough as old boots and weathered the storm well.The next day we walked down to the showers to find that the toilets were completely flooded.

The farmer who owned the campsite was going ballistic – 150 campers onsite and nowhere for them to go to the toilet!He had a serious health and safety issue on his hand, so he was letting anyone who wanted the loo to use his in his house.He looked very angry as he tried unsuccessfully to get a plumber to do an emergency call out.I reached in to get my mobile and camly rang my dad.hire services!~I was about to save the situation – my dad was managing director of a  mark attwood company!~It was obvious – my Dad was the director of a company – I was about to save the day!}

I arranged for the hire of ten portaloos to arrive as quick as possible.I let the farmer know what was happening – he hugged me telling me I’d saved his bacon.Within the hour one of my Dad’s  {vans had arrived onsite and was loading the toilets off the wagon.~Pretty soon after, one of my Dad’s vans came onsite and set up the units by the washrooms.~Within no time at all, the wagon carrying the units arrived on site and were placed down by the shower units.}After the driver had a bit of a giggle at the poor farmer’s expense, he told him that he could keep them onsite until his normal toilets and plumbing had been repaired.

After all that, me and my friends decided to enjoy the sunshine on the beach until later afternoon when we returned to our tent to find a basket of porkpies and cider waiting for us – a thank you form the farmer and his wife.The food was delicious and from then on, were were treated like old friends on the campsite.Even though it doesn’t sound particularly attractive, knowing someone in the portaloo hire trade can come in very handy!
